VRCTMC Board of Trustees


Board of Trustees was created in the Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center in November, 2006 as a public supervision and assistance body. Since that time it has been working on the issues concerning improvement of medical care to sick children.

The main direction of the Board members' activities include involvement of extra non-budget funds for improvement of material and technical basis of the institution.

During 6 months of 2008 the institution received charitable contributions, grants and gifts to the amount of 333119.63 UAH, namely:

  • "Saving a Child's Life" Foundation – 52906 UAH;
  • Regional AIDS Center – 1641 UAH;
  • Scandinavian Children’s Mission – 198715 UAH;
  • International Charitable Fund "Light of Hope" – 23300 UAH;
  • Malteser – 5873 UAH.

At the moment we are involved into activities regarding organization of 3rd level specialized care to pregnant women with severely complicated pregnancies. This is a real step to implement the idea of creation the Volyn Perinatal Center. Its building was initiated in 2001.

  2. Olena Hrinchenko – Head of Board of Trustees, Administration Head of the Volyn Regional Department of Ukrainian Children's Fund.


  3. Tetyana Zhurakivska – Deputy Head of Board of Trustees, Assistant General Director in Statistics of the Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center.


  4. Serhiy Lapchenko – Secretary of Board of Trustees, information specialist of the Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center.


  5. Taras Tkachuk – a member of Board of Trustees, representative of "Ukraine 3000" fund.


  6. Lyudmyla Hahalovska – independent expert of Board of Trustees, assistant of Pediatric Department of Post-Diploma Education of Lviv State Medical University.


  7. Svyatoslav Kravchuk – a member of Board of Trustees, Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration.


  8. Volodymyr Banada – a member of Board of Trustees, adviser of the Head of Regional Rada (Council).


  9. Zenon Matkiwsky – a member of Board of Trustees, President and Founder of Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund.


  10. Lyudmyla Lonyuk – a member of Board of Trustees, Head of the Scandinavian Children's Mission in Ukraine.


  11. Nina Zahrebelna – a member of Board of Trustees, Head of Perinatal Center of the Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center.


  12. Lyubov Yemelyanova – a member of Board of Trustees, member of the administration of "Saving a Child's Life" Foundation.


  13. Valeriy Bondaruk – a member of Board of Trustees, businessman.


  14. Volodymyr Danylyuk – a member of Board of Trustees, Chief Editor of the "Volyn Newspaper".


  15. Ihor Dmytryshyn – a member of Board of Trustees, Deputy Chief of the Youth and Sports Administration.
