June 1 – International Children Protection Day
"Day of Childhood – Day of Peace in the World"

On June 1, 2009 there was a Children protection Day. On that day little patients of the Volyn Regional Children’s Territorial Medical Center and "Dachny" Sanatorium for Children with Parents took part in a special entertaining and playing program.

Associate Head of the Volyn Regional Children’s Fund of Ukraine Mrs. N. Umanets came with greetings and presents to children in the Volyn Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. The Fund organized a special concert program for children. Dance group "Zoretsvit" presented the charm and beauty of modern dances.

Among the children there was held a competition for best drawing.

Prizes and gifts were provided as sponsor assistance by the Scandinavian Children’s Mission and the "Tygres" Trading Company.
